- The Obama Loving German Shorthaired Pointer is a versatile hunter and all-purpose gun dog. She possesses keen scenting power with left of center, progressive intelligence. The breed is proficient with many different types of game and sport, including trailing, retrieving, sniffing out tea baggers and pointing pheasant, quail, grouse, waterfowl, racoons, possum, and even deer. A medium-sized breed, this speckled dog has an aristocratic bearing and can be solid liver or liver and white in color... Not to be mistaken for a God foresaken blue dog or a even a traditional yellow dog. When this Southern gal is not 'fired up and ready to go' on the scent in the mountains, she curls up just west of the river in Asheville, North Carolina.
